The large planets of the Solar system attract the Earth, changing the distance between the Earth and the Sun. The magnitude of this change is small compared to the influence of the Moon, but the duration may be thousands of times greater. Biological tissues are much more sensitive to such influence than the mineral substances of the Earth. The study of history shows that (?) the greatest role is played by the change in the distance to the Sun during the northern summer, more precisely on the day of the summer northern solstice (in June).

The calculator roughly calculates this distance and shows it in exaggerated form for clarity. According to one hypothesis, the close June Sun reduces the area of snow and ice in the northern hemisphere, which, due to the asymmetry of the Earth, leads to short-term global warming. Moreover, this warming affects the north pole of cold, that is, Russia three to ten times stronger than in the subtropics. And vice versa.
Too close the Sun increases the temperament of the population, labor productivity, atheism, combat capability. Conversely, a too distant Sun leads to a weakening of the temperament of the population, depression, extinction, decrease in labor productivity, ideological independence, mysticism.
